Mark has over 25 years’ (14 years public sector) experience in highways, traffic and road safety engineering, including the design, consultation, reporting, legislation and CDM requirement. Mark has extensive experience in the following –
- Road Safety (Engineering, AIP, RSAs, Studies and Risk Assessments);
- Traffic Management (i.e. traffic signs, road markings, TROs, cycling infrastructure, speed limits etc.);
- Traffic sign studies, Walking, Cycling & Horse-Riding Assessments and Reviews (formerly Non-Motorised User Audits), Scheme Identification Studies, Street Lighting Reviews, Risk Assessments etc.
- Traffic Calming/Home Zones/Manual for Streets.
Mark is approved by the Highways England to act as an Audit Team Leader for Motorway and Trunk Road Safety Audits in accordance with HD 19/15.
He is a Member of the CIHT Society of Road Safety Auditors and IHE Registered Lead Road Safety Audit Practioner.
Mark is a member of the IHE Traffic Signs Committee.
He has the Certification of Competency in Road Safety Audit (requirements of IAN 152/11 & Article (1-3) of Directive 2008/96/EC.)

Martin Morley

Martin is a Road Safety Engineer who has over 25 years’ experience in managing and carrying out road safety engineering, accident investigation and prevention projects.
Martin has completed around 700 Road Safety Audits and has also carried out road safety reviews, risk assessments, road safety engineer’s reports on proposals to remove or switch-off street lighting along with Walking, Cycling & Horse-Riding Assessments and Reviews (formerly Non-Motorised User Audits).
Martin has given training on Road Safety Audit and Accident Investigation and Prevention and several other successful technical presentations.
